What?
Through counseling (“talk therapy”) I help couples work on getting the relationship they want by understanding what’s preventing them from getting there and identifying solutions. At that point, we implement strategies to get you there.

Who?
Whether you’re in a committed relationship, married or engaged to be married I’d love to help improve the quality of your relationship. Common relationship issues couples bring to counseling include: communication issues, stress, parenting differences, being present, challenges around “fairness” and who is or isn’t pulling their weight, trust, emotional safety, irritability and conflict.

How?
I’ll get to know each of you better as individuals and as partners. I ask questions about what you want and need from your partner. We work on communication and learning how to choose behaviors that support our needs and desires and knowing what it looks like when we are getting in our own way or when we block growth and connection in relationship. I also use humor - life and therapy can be heavy so I try to lighten it up!
